Now is China lunar New Year.

While the New Year in traditional China, vacation is 5 days since New Year’s Eve begin.

除夕 ~ it is new year eve. We usually eat dinner together.

初一 ~ it is first day in new year. We’ll usually visit the relative and friend.

初二 ~ it’s second day. Daughter getting married this day will usually get back to her parent’s home to have a meal. So my sister will go back to my home.

初三 ~ it’s third day. We’ll usually stay at home and sleep. Because too busy before 2 days.

The fourth day and the fifth day is the vacation. It doesn’t have any traditional activity.

The lunar new year, everybody will gambling and eat dinner. This is very important in Taiwan.

So I also was gambling with my family when my sister goes back to my home.

Most of Taiwanese like to play mahjong.

Some of Taiwanese like to play card.

It was good that my atmosphere of lunar New Year as a child was very much.

But now it was not.

When I was child, we could play fireworks. But now we can’t.

It was a kind of vacation that present Taiwanese only regard the New Year as.
